Dental & Vision Plans

Is dental and vision insurance a “good deal”?

Dental and vision insurance can be a good deal for the long run.  For exams, teeth cleanings, yearly x-rays you will probably break even but most extensive work such as root canals and fillings the plan can help cover a large portion of your bill.  In the past many dental plans had waiting periods but that has changed today  Many plans offer immediate service for major work.

Vision plans are great for those who get glasses every year as the cost of frames and lens have gotten more expensive.  Many vision plans have either a low co pay for an eye exam or full coverage.

Why would I want to buy dental or vision insurance?
